What is your Garden?
Basically, it is your everyday life along with the tasks & things that God has given you to work on, like the blessings, struggles and trials in your life.
Are you jumping into the life of someone else and helping them tend their garden while neglecting your own? It is a slippery slope any one of us can slide into.
Recently I returned home after a long stay at the farm, I found my beautiful Mother’s Day plant, near death. It was given to me by one of my 3 sons. The reason for this was due to my willingness to help another tend their garden, forgetting that I too had a garden to care for.
Too many days without rain & sunlight, and you will find your garden failing. I heard this message loud and clear as I looked at the condition of my former beautiful flower.

Think of what you’ve been given in your life and what tasks you are accountable for and what you should be doing with them. Those in our lives are important to us. While it is important to spend time helping them, remember, we all have a garden we are accountable for and we are not to neglect it.
Spend a little extra time and help out others, and when you must leave, be sure your garden is well nourished, but don’t fail to return often to take care of the needs in order to feed your own garden and your own soul.
