Tares & Wheat
Imagine for a moment you come across a turtle in the road. You want to save it from being run over by a passing motorist.

You quickly pull over and rescue the turtle and place it near the stream in the woods. The turtle tries to get away from you and crawls directly in the path of an oncoming semi. You made your best attempt to help, but the turtle did not understand and crawled right smack into the path of danger.
Next, you see A sea gull, who becomes entangled in netting below the surface of the water and struggles to get free, all the while entangling themselves even further as you try desperately to free them. If the seagull does not calm itself and trust you more than its’ own ability, the net that has it bound, will cause it to die.
These creatures do not realize they are on a path to danger and you are trying to help them get free. They are like many of the people around us each day. You may make the effort, but often there is nothing you can do or say to save them.
There are seeds God did not plant growing all around us. We do not realize many of these planted seeds are Tares, and will never become Wheat. What should you do, what part do you play?
It’s as tho I’m standing outside a painting, watching it come to life, yet not having the ability to help.
This is happening before my eyes every day, however, my job is to pray and watch God work, and allow Him to use me where He sees fit.
